NaNoWriMo?
I've never heard of this before Tuesday. I was surfing around the blogosphere reading some Random Tuesday Thoughts and I came across references to "NaNoWriMo" in a couple posts. Needless to say I was curious so I clicked the link.
Now, I'm hooked. I'm kind of excited about this. November is National Novel Writing Month (Hence NaNoWriMo). NaNoWriMo looks like an awesome way to get the creative juices flowing.
You have from 12 AM on November 1 until 11:59 PM on November 30th to write. Write. Write. Write. Write a 175 page (50,000 word) novel.
It's a great way to get motivated (I think). Also, I think it's really neat to know that there are a ton of other people around the world writing like mad too.
I don't know that I'll finish a 175 page story (actually I'm pretty sure I won't) but I think it'll be fun to try.
This will be my first attempt with NaNoWriMo. Is anyone else interested?
