Homemade Hot Pockets!

I went on an internet search the other day for a recipe for homemade hot pockets. I've been trying to find some things that I can make and freeze so when someone needs a snack they can just toss it in the microwave and enjoy.

I found a recipe that looked good at a blog called Chickens in the Road.

I made them Saturday night! I Love Them!

I made the dough and waited (im)patiently until it rose. Then I rolled it out and started filling the pockets!

I filled some of them with some leftover cubed ham that I had and cheddar cheese. A couple others I put in some shaved Turkey and cheese. Most of them are Pepperoni, cheese and pizza sauce. I made most of them Pizza because those are the ones J will like (eat).

I rolled out the dough, cut it into six parts and started filling them.

The recipe actually made 18 hot pockets.

After you put the filling on you just stretched the dough over top and pinched it closed. Then when you flipped it over it looked nice and neat.

Into the oven for twenty minutes and they came out looking good enough to eat!!!

I couldn't wait to try them! I waited . . . not so patiently, until I could taste them. I grabbed and ham and cheese one.

So Good! I'm so glad I have so many to snack on!

Very cool! I'm glad you found a recipe you were happy with because I know you were really digging around. The best part is that you can really stuff them with anything you have sitting around to use up. I might have to give this a try.
