Random Tuesday Thoughts!

It's that time! Time for all the rebels to link-up! Keely is still on a "Random" vacation so we rebels are linking up over at Stacy's Place. You know, until Keely is back. That is if she can get the Random back from Stacy!

Anyway, if you have some random you would like to share or if you just want to read someone else's then grab the box and check out Random Tuesday Thoughts (Rebels)!!

1. I was supposed to take J's cousin to school this morning. I got up early, left my warm and comfy bed, climbed in the truck, drove to her house, knocked on her door . . . Nothing. I called her Mom (who had a doctor's appointment) and guess what! She wasn't even home! They didn't need me and forgot to call me! Oh well, I got doughnuts!

2. Cream Cheese Filled Doughnuts. Yum.

3. If you entered my Little Giveaway then you should watch this space tomorrow to see if you won!

4. I thought I would sit down and have tons of things to say. Turns out, I was wrong.

5. Summer. I don't like it. It's already been Hot around here and it's only going to get hotter.

6. Do you have Kiddos? Do you/Did you/Do you plan to send them to Pre-School? I wrote a post about Pre-School and how I'm sort of (a Lot) lost and don't know what to do! Advice is very welcome!

7. Check out/Follow this blog: The Save At Home Mom. It's quality. She's a thrifty, crafty, healthy Mommy to an adorable little girl and is expecting a little boy! I was after her for a while to start a blog and she finally did. I knew she would be good at it! It's one of my favorite blogs and I've already learned a bunch from her! She's new and only have 9 followers and she's better than 9 followers! Have a look!

8. I love season finales/May sweeps. All the shows pulling out all the stops! I hate that I have to wait months to see what happens sometimes though! My favorite season finale's so far have been The Vampire Diaries (Yes I watch it and I like it VERY much!) and Castle. However, I'm still waiting for the NCIS and Bones' finales!

I suppose that's all for now. Have a great day everyone!

it's damp and cold here today. A little hotness would be welcome!

My oldest turns 4 at the end of August and just makes the cut-off for VPK. He is most definitely going because a.) he's already been in daycare since 1, b.) he'll be going with the kids he already knows, c.) it's cheaper than I already pay!, and d.) it's a great jump start on kindergarten. I'm all for it.

I put my oldest in preschool but then he stayed at home with grandparents and we wanted him to have some familiarity with doing what a teacher said when the teacher said. Sort of a leg up on Kindergarten since that is way more like first grade used to be.

Cream cheese doughnuts?

I am so jealous.

My son is now 24, but at your son's age, he did not attend preschool. 1) I didn't know it was the "thing" to do, and 2) I wasn't ready to give him up. So he read and counted and colored with me. He did fine in school. No regrets. (I'm a teacher now, and preschool is a popular thing, but unless your child is at risk, he'll do fine with spending time with you or in a couple hours of school each week.)

umm, like everyone else on here- i am extremely jealous of the cream cheese filled doughnuts! (not good for a preggo lady to be craving them at 5 pm)
also, you were the one to push me for a blog- and i LOVE it! (although i feel quite lost) thanks!!! :)
third, i went to preschool (my mom did work there, so does that even count?) and i turned out fine ;) but, my little ones won't be going- mostly because I am going to homeschool! :)

Cream cheese filled donuts?? Did you save any for me?? ;)

We've been getting excess heat off-and-on already this spring, too - I do not like hot/humid summers, and I'm nervous we're getting a preview of more to come...if that's the case, I'll be wilting sooner rather than later! ;)

I started writing a whole long-winded novel about the Preschool question, then decided to post it over on your actual Preschool post so it wouldn't go on-and-on-and-on here. ;)

I'm loving the May Sweeps and season finales, too - I can't WAIT to see Castle next fall after the finale last night - it sucks we have to wait so long to see what happens... :)

Thanks for rockin' the random rebellion with me again!! :)
