Forty-four Cents a Week?

I was on Twitter the other day (naturally) and I came across something very interesting.

It is from the website Thank You Soldier. It is the "Letters" Project.

You can go to the site and sign up to recieve a weekly e-mail that includes the address of a Soldier.

For the price of a stamp and a few minutes of your time you can brighten a day and show your support for our Troops.

I absolutely signed up and I'm excited to participate. I think it's an awesome thing for us to do to try to encourage our men and women.

If you feel that this is something you're interested in, check out "Letters" Project.

Thank you so much for your support of this great project. You and hundreds like you are participating weekly. And let me tell you ... our troops are grateful!

This sounds really cool but I have an honest question...what do you say to a stranger?

You simply tell them Thank You for all they do in support of our country. Keep in mind, they are away from family and friends. Just hearing they are appreciated means more than you can possibly know. Check out our "Letters from the Field" section of our site to get an idea of how much they appreciate our support:
